Black+decker 18 V battery range is lithium-ion which gives fade-free power and virtually no power discharge over time providing maximum productivity and reduced down-time. within the range there are three types of batteries - 1.5 ah, 2.0 ah and 4.0 ah. amp hour (ah) indicates battery capacity, meaning how much energy can be stored in the battery.
