Crystal 300 mm Heavy Duty Dial Indicator Stand, AA-1110

This extra Heavy-Duty Dial Indicator Stand-made universal testing stand is used wherever the highest accuracy is required in using a comparator. It can be used in many different ways, for example, on the surface plate in the testing parallel surface of workpieces, on machine tools for setting up pieces to be machined with reference to already existing surfaces, or for inspecting mounted pieces for running out, etc. The surface of the H-formed base, the column, and the extension arm is high precision ground.

The column can be moved and clamped in any position on the base with a knurled nut. The extension arm which can be adjusted in height moved lengthwise and swiveled is sufficiently rigid that vibrations during the measurement even with the fullest extension, are at a minimum.

The comparator or dial indicator mounted in the extension arm can be swiveled about an offset center of rotation, the measuring spindle can move in any desired position relative to the column axis. By means of the fine adjustment on the extreme area, the indicator can be set to zero without touching it and without vibration.
