Groz 3600 Gms Soft Face Sledge Hammer With 30 Inch Indestructible Handle (30 HRC Head), SHID/SF/8/30

Indestructible Handle is made up of 4 spring steel bars that run all the way through the handle. Bars are locked with the hammer head using steel locking plates ensuring that the head never gets dislodged. Ergonomic rubber grip handle absorbs vibration and reduces fatigue. Special bonding process ensures that the head never gets loose from the handle.
 

• Forged from special steel, the hammer head is induction case hardened & then tempered to reduce hardness to within 30-35 HRC. Softer head is designed to mushroom when striking harder base materials. Prevents damage to struck work pieces.
• The Groz INDESTRUCTIBLE hammer won't stop no matter what you do to it. Paying a little extra compared to conventional hammers for a lifetime of use works out to a fraction of the cost than what you would spend buying multiple units of conventional hammers for the same job.
• Groz Indestructible Handle Hammers meet ANSI specifications "Hand Tools - Heavy Striking Tools Safety Requirements", as well as BS 876 specifications for material, hardness, and performance.

Outstanding Durability:

• In our desire to build the world’s strongest Sledge Hammer, we tested our Indestructible Handle Sledge Hammer against Sledges with different handles. We attached each Sledge to an Electronic drive machine & tested for both Direct & Overstrikes at a strike rate of 80 blows per minute
• We stopped counting after 36000 strikes with no indication of deformation in both direct & overstrike tests
• Fibre glass hammer broke in 7000 strikes in direct strike test & 4,126 strikes in overstrike test
• Wood hammer broke in 450 strikes in direct strike test & 208 strikes in overstrike test
