Karam 2 Mtr Braided Polyamide Rope Lanyard, PN289(A)

Restraint Lanyards are a part of the Restraint System needed at height. These lanyards prevent the user from reaching the edge and hence prevent a potential fall from occurring. Since no fall occurs in a “Fall Restraint System”, the Restraint Lanyards do not have any shock absorption element incorporated in them. It is therefore mandatory to ensure that Fall Restraint Lanyards are never used for fall arrest.

Features:

• Made up of Kernmantle Rope of 11mm dia.
• They are cross stitched and are protected with a strong transparent covering sleeve, which not only protects the ends, but also makes the stitches visible for easy inspection prior to use.
• The loops at the end are protected by an abrasion resistant thimble, which prevents the rope from being damaged by the metallic contact of the connector.
• The rope also has a coloured tracer strand which loses its colour in due course of time, indicating that the Lanyard is now unfit for further use.
• All KARAM Lanyards are also supplied with any other hook on special request.
• All Lanyards with different combinations of connectors mentioned below are individually certified as per EN 354:2010.
