The VG 300 from V-Guard is a state-of-the-art compact, wall-mountable stabilizer suitable for 1-ton ACs. The stabilizer is equipped with a range of excellent technical features like under/over- voltage protection, an intelligent time delay system, thermal overload protection, etc, to ensure that the functioning of your air-conditioner is smooth and reliable. With a capacity of 9A, the stabilizer is built to be robust and secure, and housed in an ABS cabinet.
 

Under/Over Voltage Protection: Electrical devices are designed to operate at a certain standard voltage in order for the product to achieve its specified level of performance, efficiency, safety and reliability. Operating an electrical device above or below the specified voltage range can lead to problems such as malfunctions, abnormal current consumption, printed circuit board failures, etc. The VG 300 features a low/high voltage protection function which protects the connected air-conditioner from these types of failures.

Intelligent Time Delay System (ITDS): The VG 300 is provided with an “Intelligent Time Delay System”. When the stabilizer has been off for over three minutes and is then switched on, it switches on output power to the AC immediately. If, on the other hand, power supply fails and returns within three minutes, the stabilizer delays delivery of power output by a time period that is proportionate to the period of absence of power. This intelligent time delay system ensures proper balancing time for the compressor before restart under all conditions, while at the same time avoiding unnecessary delay in the switching on of the AC.

Thermal Overload Protection: The VG 300 comes with a thermal sensor that senses an overload condition and immediately disconnects the load to protect both the appliance and stabilizer itself from any damage. This could happen under certain conditions, like a short-circuit for example, if a component in the connected appliance that may cause excessive current to be drawn through the stabilizer.
