An oversize anvil work surface is featured on the Venus forged steel line of vises. This large work surface is machined smooth and designed for metal shaping or bending. Made from forged steel, this anvil work surface is more durable than work surfaces. These precision machined jaws provide better gripping surfaces than cast in place jaws. The option to replace these jaws when they are worn down, allows you to only replace parts you need rather than the full vise.

The machined main bar means this vise will operate smoothly and precisely. If the bar of the vise does wear down the two allen sets in the side of the vise are adjustable. Adjusting these allen sets will make sure that the vise closes flush each and every time you use the vise.
