The YT-74227 safety shock absorber with a strap and two carabiners is an element of the fall arrest system that connects the safety harness with the anchor point. The shock absorber is made of properly sewn polyester tape. When arresting a fall, specially designed seams tear gradually, slowing down the speed of the fall.
